Founder Real Talk Episode #25 With Max Levchin, Co-founder & CEO of Affirm

Max Levchin, a serial founder and Silicon Valley icon, talked to us about Affirm

I’m thrilled that we’ve hit the 25th episode of Founder Real Talk. It’s been exciting to sit down with such impressive founders, dig into their journeys and shed light on challenges that are applicable to all company leaders. Founder Real Talk episode #25 is especially exciting as I co-hosted with fellow GGV Managing Partner and Co-Host of the 996 Podcast, Hans Tung. We interviewed Silicon Valley icon Max Levchin, Founder and CEO of Affirm, a GGV portfolio company.

Affirm is a rapidly growing fintech company that offers microloans to consumers at the point of sale. It allows shoppers to pay for purchases across multiple months with transparent, fairly priced fees built into every payment. Impressive! A self proclaimed “fintech nerd” and serial entrepreneur, Max shares how Affirm was a product of HVF (Hard, Valuable, Fun) and how his wife was the voice of reason when defining what was really fun for him. Max talks diversity and inclusion, distributed teams, working smart vs. working hard to note a few.

I hope you enjoy the episode! I sure did.
